LCHS Prom Slideshow plus contest!

I thought this Taylor Swift song was perfect for a little slideshow I will be giving all my sweet couples who came out for prom sessions.

I have decided to have a little contest for them, also.  On the post below vote for your favorite couple.  Just leave a comment with their names (their names are above their photos), and the lucky winner will receive 2 free 5x7s from their session.  One for him and one for her. :-)  Voting will be open through Saturday night.

Please only one vote per person. Thanks!

LCHS Prom 2010 - Southern Tennessee Senior Photographer.

Last Saturday was prom. SIGH.  Just one of the biggest nights of your high school life. My wonderful friend Amy made arrangements for me to use her parents' home for my sessions.  They have restored a beautiful antebellum home. It was the perfect setting for this special night.  I had so much fun with all my wonderful couples.  The girls were absolutely stunning, and the guys.... well they were handsome to say the least. Here is just a sneak peek while I finish editing their sessions for them.

Miss Allison.  Our beautiful sweet Allison.  I love this girl, and so do our kiddos.  She is one of their favorite babysitters. She assists me on some of my shoots, also.  Love her.

Ashley and Braden. Ashley's dress was so unique. Loved it!

Jake and Katelyn. Katelyn is another of our favorite babysitters.  I loved her dress.  She looked like a Greek goddess!  You should have seen the Thunderbird Jake was driving.  Well, you might later. ;-)

Elizabeth and Max. Do I admit that I graduated from high school with Elizabeth's mom? Yes, it has been 20 years since my Senior prom. Wow.  They were such a cute couple.

Jessica and Travis. It took a little doing, but I did get Travis to smile. Love them on the front porch.

Timmy and Sam.  You've seen Timmy here a time or two since I did his Senior portraits.  Ummm...his mom and I have been friends since elementary school.   Loved the color of Sam's dress, and Timmy's tux matched perfect.  Love it. Love too that I can be a little rough on Timmy. ;-)

Shelby and Evan.  Shelby's dress was stunning.  It was so fitting for the setting.  And Evan's tux?! I loved the black and gray.  We had a lot of fun with them and even did a few group shots with them and Timmy and Sam.  A fun, fun time.

Thank you so much guys for letting me take your prom portraits.  I hope it was as fun for you as it was for me, and that you had a night to remember.

Lori's Maternity Session.

Rewind just a few weeks before my last post.  You've met Miss Harper.  Now meet her beautiful Mom, Lori.

Lori asked me months ago if I would do a labor and delivery session for her.  I was thrilled! I told her that I thought we should also do a maternity session. We met at her boutique (my favorite place to shop) which was perfect for our shoot.

It gave us great backdrops.

Lori is so beautiful.

After spending an hour or so at Lori's shop, we headed to her grandparents' vacation home in the country. They have a beautiful log home at the edge of the woods. Perfect spot.

This is one of my very favorites.

But I have many favorites.

This would be another.

She is so beautiful and pregnancy really suits her.

This really makes wish I would have had a maternity session with one of my pregnancies...

Welcome to the world, Baby Girl!

Yesterday was an amazing day for me.  I witnessed Miss Harper Reese enter the world.  She arrived at 12:42 PM screaming.

I cannot tell you how honored I was to be there are Lori and BJ welcomed her into their family. There was so much love in that room.  I hope Lori will forgive me if some of the shots are out of focus.  I was crying and shaking the moment she entered the world.  I will never forget it.
