Congratulations Class of 2011 | Southern Tennessee Senior Photographer

Tonight is graduation night for many of my seniors. I know that they are going to do great things!  I wish you all the best in everything.  Congratulations on all your accomplishments to this point in your journey.  I know there are exciting times for you ahead!

Ethan is head of his graduating class and will be heading to The University of the South this fall.

Beautiful, sweet Katelyn.  She is finishing #4 in her class.  So proud of her!

Kyle.  I know he will be enjoying some time on the lake this summer.

Another beautiful Kaytlynn.  Seems like only yesterday her mom and I were graduating.  How time flies!

Bubbly Shelby.  She always puts a smile on my face!

Kelsey.  I hope to see her at the pool this summer.  I know Stewart does, too!

My sweet, gentle-spirited Hannah. Prom queen.  On her way to UT-Chattanooga to become one of the world's best nurses.

You all have been given wonderful gifts.  Use them to make this world better.  Use them to bless those around you.

Thank you for letting me share in this most exciting time!

Kyle Senior 2011 - Southern Tennessee Senior Photographer

When I talked to Kyle's mom about his Senior session, she said he wanted bricks and concrete.  She told me Kyle was really laid back and relaxed.  She was right.  Kyle was a photographer's dream.  So easy going. Relaxed.  Natural.  I tell my clients before we start that the more relaxed they are the better their photos will be.  Just be yourself.  Kyle had no problem doing that.

He brought along his wake board.  His family spends a lot of time at the lake in the summer.  Actually, he and his mom had driven from the lake that afternoon just for his shoot.

I knew exactly where I wanted to start Kyle's session. This is a favorite spot of mine.

I loved the orange board.  It really popped against the neutral colors.

This one may be my favorite of the day. As is often the case, it is the unexpected ones I like the most.

Caught in the act.  Could there be a more natural shot of a teen?

Kyle's uncle met us with his grandfather's old Chevy.  Loved it!  They said it needed painting.  I said it was perfect!

The truck was awesome, but we also had to get a few of Kyle with his Mustang.

Kyle, thanks for a great afternoon.  A lot of times the guys are ready to be done before we even get started, but you were a great sport!  Good luck in your Senior year!

Oh, and I just had to share a behind-the-scenes shot.  What do you do when you're dragged to your older cousin's senior portrait session? You find a nice spot and play your DS.

Senior Season - Southern Tennessee Senior Photographer.

It's that time! Senior portrait time!  I love, love, love shooting Seniors! I've been so busy editing lately that I haven't had a lot of time to share all of their sessions just yet, but I wanted to share just a little peek of what I am working on at the moment.

I just finished editing Kaytlynn's session last week.

I am finishing up Kyle's.

And then will be to Katelyn's session.

A lot of K's in there, huh? ;-) I just love 'em all!  Stay tuned for full posts!

And the winner is....

...Elizabeth and Max!

Aren't they the cutest couple?!

Since they were the lucky winning couple I thought I would share a few more photos from their session.

Elizabeth is such a beautiful young lady.  From just the short time we were together her inner beauty was so obvious.

And Max... well he was dashing in his white tux.  It was obvious he adored Elizabeth, too.

Congratulations once again, Elizabeth and Max.  Thanks so much to all of my wonderful couples for coming out on prom night.  Thank you also to everyone who voted!

LCHS Prom Slideshow plus contest!

I thought this Taylor Swift song was perfect for a little slideshow I will be giving all my sweet couples who came out for prom sessions.

I have decided to have a little contest for them, also.  On the post below vote for your favorite couple.  Just leave a comment with their names (their names are above their photos), and the lucky winner will receive 2 free 5x7s from their session.  One for him and one for her. :-)  Voting will be open through Saturday night.

Please only one vote per person. Thanks!
