Karsyn & Kadin ~ Tennessee Child Photographer

Karsyn has changed a lot since the last time she and I were together.  Her mom called and schedule an appointment for her 9-month session, but the weather did not cooperate for us and we had to reschedule.  I think Karsyn was closer to 10-months by the time we were able to get together. It was a nice day in February, but it was still a little chilly.  That's why I suggested we do something a little different.  We met at our new public library on a sunny Saturday afternoon, and I have to say this is one of my favorite sessions ever.

Luckily, the library wasn't very busy that day, and we pretty much had the children's section to ourselves.

Karsyn quickly went to work searching for just the right book.

After a while we found a back corner where we could be just a little bit louder.

Kadin being the boy that he is found a whole series of bug books.

I did manage to get him to look up just for a second. :-)

And a little storyboard I put together.

This really was the perfect setting for their shoot considering Karsyn and Kadin's mom is a elementary reading coach. She knew most of the books the kids picked up.  I think it's the little things like that make photos all the more meaningful.

I'm already planning for Miss Karsyn's 1st birthday session!

Product Spotlight - CD Cases.

My brides receive their image CD/DVD and slideshow DVD in a custom CD Case.  I custom design these and include a photo from their special day.

These cases have a magnetic closure and are a beautiful way to store your CD/DVD.

Clients who purchase their session CD (mini-sessions not included) will now also receive their CD in one of my custom CD cases.

Cooper - 18 months.

I have a new friend, and his name is Cooper. We met last Sunday afternoon at the barn. He liked my horse.

Cooper's mom had contacted me back in January about scheduling a session, but the weather just hasn't cooperated. As soon as we had a nice weekend we made the most of it.

If all 18-month-olds could be so easy!   Cooper was great.  We had so much fun.  He also liked my red wagon.

I just downloaded this to my computer and did a quick once through to pick out a few for a little sneak peek for Cooper's mom, but this is an early favorite.

Hope you like the sneak peek, Mom! There's a lot more where these came from!

Rick & Deloris - slideshow.

I just finished up Rick & Deloris' slideshow and wanted to share it.  They are such a neat couple. I had so much fun working with them and was so honored to be part of this wonderful day!

Enjoy!

Baby Luke.

Earlier this week I got to spend my morning with Baby Luke and his mom and dad.  Luke's mom received one of my gift certificates at her baby shower, and she called me as soon as she and Luke came home from the hospital to schedule his session.  Unfortunately,  Luke has a clogged tear duct, and we had to reschedule his appointment not once, but twice.  So Luke's newborn session is actually his 3-week session. :-)

He has WIDE awake the entire time.  We had to work for some of our shots, but I think we managed to get some very special ones. After a once over I pulled out a couple of my favorites to share here. I will post more when I have time to go through them a little closer.

I love this one of Luke and his dad.  Love the moment.

And one of my favorites of this sweet new family.

Thanks for letting me spend the morning with you guys.  You have a precious, precious family.
