Where the deer and the antelope play.

That is where I have been.  I took a week off and traveled to Wyoming with Chris.

He was busy hunting, and I was busy relaxing.  I so needed it.  Today is the first time I have been in front of a computer in more than a week. Today I am back at it. I have so much editing to do.  Thank you to all of you that have been waiting so patiently. I had a wonderful week and am now ready to get back to work!

When I get caught up I promise to share some photo from our trip!

Eric & Bridget: Celebrating 25 years. Part 1.

This couple is such an example of true love. Eric and Bridget were married 25 years ago in a simple ceremony in her grandmother's home. Bridget had no photographs from the day as they were all severely underexposed. Eric knew the Bridget dreamed of a day such as this and for their 25th wedding anniversary he asked her to marry him all over again in the presence of their children and their loved ones. I was so very honored to be there to capture this wonderful day for them.

The dress.

Bridget's gorgeous shoes and pearls.

A little help from her daughter Sara.

The guys.

The handsome groom.

One last one for today.

More to come: ceremony and reception. Such a wonderful day!

Watt a fun family!

Fun! That is the one word that comes to mind when I think of this family!

When Karen and I discussed location she said she wanted something in the country.  I was so excited to find this new spot for her. It is part of a farm I have used several times, but I had never used this exact spot. It is my new favorite!

Karen and Brian have two girls and one boy just like we do. I could relate to the fun chaos of their family. :-) It was fun to see the different personalities in their kids very much like our three kiddos.

Cora is the oldest and the most reserved of the three.  Such a sweet little lady.

Mae seems to be more of a free spirit.  She can also run very fast and demonstrated her speed for me several times during the hour we were together. And would you just look at those eyes?! Beautiful!

Bert is all boy, and is constantly on the go.  He is very into Cars right now and is apparently obsessed with tractors. That was all he talked about.  Actually all he talked about was the tractors falling down (being tipped) in Cars. He was so fun!

We did slow him down for a minute for a family shot. Well, his dad did have to lift him up on his shoulders! I do think this is my favorite family shot. I love the way Mae is holding her dress. :-)

Here is another favorite of Mae.

And one of the sweet sisters together.  They really are the sweetest girls.

Fun, fun, fun! That is what we had. Despite the heat we laughed and laughed. Brian and Karen you are so blessed! Your children are precious and they are blessed to have the two of you as parents. Thank you so much for letting me capture these moments!

Hello, Hannah!

Say hello to Hannah! She is my 2010 senior spokesmodel!

We met one afternoon for an urban photo shoot. She has a beautiful smile don't you think? She also has a beautiful voice. Hannah is a true beauty through and through.

She is a sweetheart, but she can show a little attitude, too!

I love the light in this next one.

You will be seeing more of Hannah in the coming months. We have another session planned for this fall.  Senior print packages begin at $150 (Does not include session fee).  Seniors mention you are a friend of Hannah's and receive a special gift with your order!

Small town on a Sunday afternoon.

I recently met my longtime friend Kim and her girls in town on a Sunday afternoon for a little photo shoot of the four of them together. Kim (like many of my other clients)and I went to high school together. That is one good thing about living in a small town.  You still see many of your friends from high school almost twenty years later. has it really been that long?! After having three girls, Kim went back to college and is now an ER nurse.

We went for a walk around town, catching up and just having fun.

I would introduce the girls, but I think this next one does it for me. ;-)

We had fun hanging and being a little silly.

There wasn't much traffic that day, but I think they could have stopped traffic. Don't you?

Then we were off again. I love the bit of flare in this one.

We made our way back to my favorite alley, and the light was perfect.  Love the shadows we were able to get!

Kim, I hope these were worth the wait! There are many, many, many more! Your girls are beautiful, and I am so proud of you!
